ok we have some serious problem since today with posting images. specially when there are more pics, i noticed that earlier. it throws out an error in database. i have to fix it :82:

What's the truth, what happend when 75 ended on the roof on the track, that was fake i suppose?
And gearbox really died or they left it without oil?

Thanks for the replys, I'm using the Google tool bar which translates most stuff;)
My friend payed £ 500 for clarksons 75 then sold it to top gear for £ 1000 with the option to buy it back after the show for £ 1, which he did then he sold it to me last year. it did not go on its roof it was tipped on its side and dragged just for the movie: mad:

This colour is mockery by Jeremy Clarkson and if I were You that car would be in any other colour than that one.Clarkson was making fun of that car but my opinion is that this car didn't diserve that.If Clarkson is so smart why he doesen't make one supercar of his own and give Stig to make a few laps on Top Gear's fameous track so we can see what are the times and where the time is going to be posted on that wall.I think that was really too much.But this is only my opinion.

Made a start on the front end as its been shunted back abit causing the wheels to rub if you try to turn in anyway

as you can see its moved down and back.... was abit of a pain to get off due to all brackets bent snapped and rusty
here you can see the hole on the wing were the bolt has been ripped out and the 2 bent front mounts (one with the snapped mount off the bumper)

O/S seems to have taken the hit harder as bracket has bent and come out of its sleeve

after some work its back in shape

Had to do abit of work on the headlight mounts as the O/S light was about 15mm out which ment the grill would not fit
so after some more fine hammering it all went back together again and quite pleased..... its solid and almost straight but its hard to fix things without it looking to fixed :lol:

Maybe you should consider reinforcing mounts since they probably lost their initial strength..?

seems a lot of rust attacking the car. but i see a nice gadget there. antirollbar looks nice :good: and brake disc too

oh my god i have'nt seen this sofar...good luck with this project, you gonna need it :D: are you going to repair it in "british" way leaving some rust and bumps or "italian" way to be like new :D: can't wait to see the final result :yahoo:

The car is low milage at 50k miles and has had some things done and loved in the past its all about how much welding it needs

Got a new rear caliper and pads on the way, just need to sort a the rear exhaust back box then its off for welding and MOT

I would inspect all rubber mounts and clutch while working on rear part of the car. :good:

Its had a new clutch and anything thats worn will be replaced :nod:

Minty fires up first time now the cold start inj has been removed and runs very sweet but still alot to do

New battery and skoda fanatsey green paint ready to go, rear calipers done Welding will be later this week then MOT early next week (got held up by bad weather) and paint will be done after that, was thinking of letting Mrs Van loose with the paint so it will match clarksons work :lol:

Well more delays as I have 6 stitches near my hip so cant work under the car, so did a few other little jobs today like sorting foglight switch, now working, then I stuck a new mirror on as JC ripped it off at Rockingham speedway, you can see the gravel stuck behind the wind thingy also some inside what was left of the mirror
